PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device and a measuring method that can improve measuring accuracy of biological information.SOLUTION: A measuring device 10 that brings a region to be examined into contact with a contact section 14 and measures biological information comprises: a contact state detection section 11 that detects a contact state of the region to be examined at the contact section 14 a biosensor 13 that acquires the biological information from the region to be examined a reporting section 12 and a control section 15 that measures the biological information on the basis of an output of the biosensor 13.
