PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method through which the thickness of a rooting layer can be made in a layer as thick as 30 cm suitable for growth of abor and the vegetation base material or soil dressing forming the thick rooting layer can be securely retained on a hard slope face for a long time. SOLUTION: In this green method, vegetation are forced positively to grow on a hard slope face 20 on which rocks are exposed or having a hard layer 21 made of mortar or the like on the surface, by fixing a number of fence-like bodies 10 arranged on the hard slope face 20 by anchor pins 30 or the like, a plurality of dams 10a having a specified height and continuing zigzag are constituted. The upper part of these respective fence-like bodies 10a is covered with a net-like body 40 and then, a vegetation base material or soil dressing containing fertilizer or a soil improving material or a mixture that plant seeds are mixed with the above vegetation base material or the soil dressing are injected to form a rooting layer 50 having a specified thickness on the hard slope face 20 by using the net-like body 40 and respective fence-like bodies 10 to make the seeds in the vegetation base material or the soil dressing or make a cutting into the seeding layer 50. In this way, greening on the hard slope face 20 can be carried out.
