A method for forming hydrogel dressings and a hydrogel dressing fabricated thereby are disclosed. The hydrogel dressing includes a hydrogel layer, a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a first ventilation material film layer, a second pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a second ventilation material film layer and at least one release paper. With the help of an extra ventilation material film layer during the processing of the hydrogel dressing, yield rate of the hydrogel dressing can be improved. Lost cost on the extra ventilation material film layer is much less than it saves for the whole processes of manufacturing.本發明揭露一種用於加工成型水凝膠敷料的方法及使用該方法製成之水凝膠敷料。該水凝膠敷料包括一水凝膠層、一第一感壓膠層、一第一透氣材料膜層、一第二感壓膠層、一第二透氣材料膜層及至少一離型紙。藉由多餘的一層透氣材料膜層在加工的過程中協助,水凝膠敷料的製造良率可以增加,節省下來的成本遠超過多餘透氣材料膜層的材料成本。
