The present invention relates to an SREBP-1 decoy oligodeoxynucleotide and a composition containing the same as an active ingredient for preventing or treating fatty liver disease. More specifically, the SREBP-1 decoy oligodeoxynucleotide of the present invention inhibits a transcription factor action of SREBP-1 which is a transcription factor to control expression of genes associated with biosynthesis of lipid and to inhibit accumulation of fat in the liver when the SREBP-1 decoy oligodeoxynucleotide is processed on an animal model with an induced fatty liver, reduce alanine aminotransferase in blood, aspartic acid aminotransferase, total cholesterol, and triglyceride indices, and reduce liver and blood infection indices. Therefore, the SREBP-1 decoy oligodeoxynucleotide can be used as a pharmaceutical composition to prevent or treat fatty liver disease.본 발명은 SREBP-1 디코이 올리고디옥시뉴클레오티드 및 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 지방간 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 본 발명의 SREBP-1 디코이 올리고디옥시뉴클레오티드는 전사인자인 SREBP-1의 전사인자 작용을 억제하여 지질의 생합성과 관련된 유전자들의 발현을 조절함으로써, 지방간이 유도된 동물모델에 SREBP-1 디코이 올리고디옥시뉴클레오티드 처리시 간에서의 지방의 축적을 억제하고, 혈중 알라닌 아미노전이효소, 아스파르트산 아미노전이효소, 총 콜레스테롤 및 중성지방 지수가 감소하며, 간 및 혈중 염증 지수 또한 감소하는 효과를 나타내며, 이러한 효과로 인하여 SREBP-1 디코이 올리고디옥시뉴클레오티드는 지방간 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물로 이용 가능하다.
