The present invention relates to a dermatologic drug composition for preventing or healing wound comprising an Arecae Pericarpium extract as an active ingredient and to a method for preparing the same. The composition comprising the Arecae Pericarpium extract as the active ingredient according to the present invention: solves problems of conventional wound healing medicines promotes secretion of transforming growth factor beta, insulin-like growth factor type 1, and keratinocyte growth factor by promoting activities of fibroblasts and can be directly applied to wound healing by promoting biosynthesis of fibronectin and collagen, thereby having enhanced wound improving, preventing, or healing effects.
