PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of improving the fit by disposing an absorber along a body of a wearer while improving an absorption performance by increasing an area of the absorber disposed at a crotch part of the wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes an absorbent body 1A and an outer body 1B that are joined at a joining area RA. A back-side end of the absorber is disposed in front of a waist holding part in a back waist area. The absorber includes curving parts formed such that the absorber can protrudingly curve in the thickness direction, and a high rigidity area having higher rigidity than that of the back-side end of the absorber in the back of the curving part. The outer body includes back leg elastic materials 5R stretching in the width direction in a prescribed area extending from an area where the high rigidity area and the joining area are superposed, towards the width direction.
