The present invention relates to a novel p22phox inhibitor, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating rheumatoid arthritis, including it as an active ingredient, and a health functional food. The p22phox inhibitor according to the present invention is a new aryl propaneamide derivative composed of a new tetrahydroindazole and a thiadiazole, and the inhibitory concentration 50 is nearly 100 times higher than that of a conventional N8 peptide-mimetic small molecule. In addition, the treatment of the p22phox inhibitor shows a remarkable and distinct therapeutic effect in a mouse model of rheumatoid arthritis, and thus it can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition or a dietary supplement composition for preventing or treating rheumatoid arthritis.본 발명은 신규 p22phox 억제제, 이를 유효성분으로 포함하는 류마티스 관절염 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물 및 건강기능식품에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 p22phox 억제제는 새로운 테트라하이드로인다졸과 티아디아졸로 구성된 새로운 아릴 프로판아마이드 파생물로서 기존 N8 펩타이드-모방체 저분자 보다 저해 농도 50(Inhibitory concentration 50)가 100배 가까이 상당한 향상된 효능을 보였다. 또한, p22phox 저해제의 처리는 류마티스 관절염의 마우스 모델에서 주목할 만한 뚜렷한 치료적 효과를 보이므로, 이를 류마티스 관절염 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물 또는 건강 기능 식품 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
