A method for producing an erythropoietin (EPO) from a transformed silkworm is provided to massively produce the EPO in a safety method by inserting an expression vector containing an EPO gene in fertilized egg. A method for producing an erythropoietin from EPO-transformed silkworm comprises: a step of prepare an EPO expression gene containing EPO gene and fibroin promoter; a step of injecting the expression vector in an egg for transduction; a step of extracting a genome DNA in silkworm and screening EPO transformed silkworm; and a step of isolating EPO protein from the EPO-transformed silkworm.
