PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backpack-type power working machine that has excellent shouldering feeling, comfortability of operation, etc., and is easily conveyed when carried without being shouldered.SOLUTION: The backpack-type power working machine is equipped with a lower unit 3 that is a unit constituting the lower side of a body part 1 of the working machine shouldered by an operator and is furnished with a first face 6a opposing the back of the operator, an upper unit 4 that is a unit constituting the upper side of the body part 1 of the working machine and is furnished with a second face 10a opposing the back of the operator and a locking means 26 that changes the lower unit 3 and the upper unit 4 from a rotatable state to a nonrotatable state.
