To provide a lawn mower that reduces energy consumption during non-working.SOLUTION: A lawn mower includes an electric motor 20 provided in a main body unit 1, a rotary blade 10 of a blade unit 2 driven by driving force, a handle unit having an operation lever, a control unit for controlling the electric motor 20, a rotatable wheel unit with respect to the main body unit 1, and a detection unit 40 for detecting whether the main body unit 1 is in a working state or a non-working state.
