In operation, the ultrasound probe 31 scans an anatomical region, and the ultrasound imaging workstation 32 responds to the scanning of the anatomical region with the ultrasound probe 31 of anatomical structures in the patient space. The generation of the ultrasonic volume 42 is tracked. The ultrasound imaging workstation 32 is procedural of the anatomy within the ultrasound volume 42 obtained from the ultrasound volume model 41 of the anatomy labeled with procedurally defined zones.
