A method of obtaining a transplant from an animal’s dermis, preferably from a pig’s dermis, comprising the following steps: a) preparing an animal’s dermis; b) treating the animal’s dermis with an aqueous solution containing sodium sulfide; c) one or multiple treatment of the dermis with aqueous saline; d) if necessary, single or multiple treatment of the dermis with an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide; e) dehydration of the dermis. 2.
