PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetables and fruits quality determination device capable of preventing vegetables and fruits from falling in an opening for emitting light or an opening for receiving light even when the vegetables and fruits fall from a placing pan. SOLUTION: A vegetables and fruits quality determination device 100 comprises: a conveyance device 2 to convey vegetables and fruits 1; and an inside measuring device 3 to measure an inside of the vegetables and fruits 1 arranged midway in the conveyance device 2. The conveyance device 2 has a placing pan 10 to place the vegetables and fruits 1. The inside measuring device 3 has: floodlighting means 53 to floodlight the vegetables and fruits 1; light receiving means 54 which receives light from the vegetables and fruits 1, spectrally separates the received light and measures the separated light; and a curtain 65 to shut out the light from an outside. Either the floodlighting means 53 or the light receiving means 54 is installed below the conveyance device 2. An opening 15 is arranged on a conveyance surface of the conveyance device 2.
