PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a foamy detergent capable of producing a foamy detergent with excellent detergency and feel during use even when a surfactant content is low, and a cleaning method using the composition for a foamy detergent.SOLUTION: The composition for a foamy detergent is used by generating foam so that a foam viscosity of the foamy detergent at 30°C and 10 seconds after mixing air to generate foam and an average foam diameter of the foamy detergent 30 seconds after the same is 40-100 mPa.s and 10-100 &mum, respectively.
