PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall preventing device for a vehicle with a lifter enabling a wheel chair user and his assistant to get on/off a vehicle such as a bus without anxiety and enabling a person in charge of a load to stably carry out loading and unloading operation of the load.SOLUTION: The fall preventing device for the vehicle includes a drive rod 1 arranged along a lateral side 22 of an opening 21 and an interrupting rod 2 having one end fitted to the upper end of the drive rod 1 and pivotally supported at the lateral side of the opening 21.
