A method for imparting an anti-aging benefit to human skin, characterized in that it comprises: topically applying to the skin of an individual in need thereof a composition in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle comprising cis-6-nonenol in an amount effective to impart the anti-aging benefit to the skin, wherein said cis-6-nonenol is present in an amount of 0.0001% by weight to 90% by weight depending on the total weight of the composition.Un método para impartir un beneficio anti-envejecimiento a la piel humana, caracterizado porque comprende: aplicar tópicamente a la piel de un individuo en necesidad del mismo una composición en un vehículo cosméticamente aceptable que comprende cis-6-nonenol en una cantidad efectiva para impartir el beneficio anti-envejecimiento a la piel, donde dicho cis-6-nonenol está presente en una cantidad de 0.0001% en peso a 90% en peso en función del peso total de la composición.
