Provided is an ultrasonic observation device that includes: an image processing unit that transmits an ultrasonic wave to a subject to be observed, and generates an ultrasonic image based on an ultrasonic signal received from an ultrasonic vibrator that receives the ultrasonic wave reflected at the subject being observed； an elasticity information calculation unit that calculates the elasticity information of the subject being observed in a region set in advance in the ultrasonic image； a region extraction unit that extracts a region in which the elasticity information calculated by the elasticity information calculation unit satisfies a predetermined condition in the region set in advance； a calculation unit that calculates diagnosis support information that supports an operator's determination of diagnosis order of the regions on the basis of the elasticity information of each region extracted by the region extraction unit； and an image synthesis unit that generates an image in which the diagnosis support information calculated by the calculation unit is formed into the ultrasonic image.
