A polymer is polymerized from a monomer mixture containing (a) 70 to 95% by weight of 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate (EHMA) and ethyl methacrylate (EMA) or 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate (EHMA) and methyl methacrylate (MMA), (b) 2.5 to 25% by weight of one or more C2 to C6 hydroxy-alkyl esters of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, (c) 2.5 to 15% by weight of one or more C2 to C8 alkyl esters of acrylic acid or of methacrylic acid with a quaternary cationic group in the alkyl group. The polymer is useful for preparing a dosage form with a sustained release profile and resistance against the influence of ethanol.L'invention concerne un polymère, polymérisé à partir d'un mélange de monomères comprenant : (a) 70 à 95 % en poids de méthacrylate de 2-éthylhexyle (EHMA) et de méthacrylate d'éthyle (EMA ou méthacrylate de 2-éthylhexyle (EHMA) et de méthacrylate de méthyle (MMA), (b) 2,5 à 25 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs hydroxy-alkylesters en C2 à C6 d'acide acrylique ou d'acide méthacrylique, (c) 2,5 à 15 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs esters alkyliques en C2 à C8 d'acide acrylique ou d'acide méthacrylique avec un groupe cationique quaternaire dans le groupe alkyle. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation d'un polymère pour préparer une forme pharmaceutique ayant un profil de libération prolongée et une résistance à l'influence de l'éthanol, et la forme pharmaceutique elle-même.
