The seeder (1) has a frame (2) supported on ground by wheels (3) and carrying a tamping roller (5) placed transversely to advancing direction (A) of the seeder and sowing bodies arranged over entire working width of the seeder. The tamping roller comprises three sections (5a-5c), where the adjacent sections are placed offset with respect to the other section due to the advancing direction, and width of each section corresponds to width of each wheel. The sections extend between the wheels when the frame is rigid and extend on two sides of the wheels when the frame is folded.
