Equipment for making decorations on foodstuffs such as pastry-making confectionery products, and, in particular, on Easter eggs, comprising at least one case (10) made of food-grade silicone, on which the desired decorations are reproduced in negative, which is suitable to be housed inside a cavity (21) of a shell (20), made of rigid plastic material. In this way, it is possible to make deep decorations, in high and low relief and even in undercut, not achievable by the use of a rigid mould moreover, it is possible to achieve an all-turned continuous decoration along the entire surface of the foodstuff, leading to obtain the effect of a hand carved object.
