PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume compound which imparts and enhance a preferable aroma when added to food and drink and to perfumery and when added to food and drink, enhances not only the aroma but also, as a taste, deliciousness, saltiness, sweetness, and full-bodied taste of milk.SOLUTION: An emulsion composition containing 2-(3-benzyloxypropyl)pyridine or a product transformed into a powder composition by drying the emulsion composition is easy to blend into various food and drink as well as perfume compounds, and is a material having a high flavor-modulating effect. By adding the emulsion composition and the powder composition to food and drink or perfumery, an aroma full of natural feeling can be imparted thereto. Further, especially when added to food and drink, the emulsion composition and the powder composition impart or enhance deliciousness, and enhance saltiness and sweetness.
