The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, ameliorating or treating inflammatory diseases comprising Chinese pepper oil as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a composition which confirms an effect of reducing expression of inflammatory cytokines by Chinese pepper oil extracted using an Ex pela method. In particular, drought resistant plant variety has a significant anti-inflammatory effect among a variety of varieties (early varieties, late maturing variety, and drought resistant plant).본 발명은 산초유를 유효성분으로 포함하는 염증성 질환의 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상세하게는 엑스펠라 착유법으로 착즙한 산초유가 염증성 사이토카인의 발현을 감소시키는 효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였고, 특히 다양한 품종(조생종, 만생종, 한초) 중에서 한초 품종이 현저한 항염 효과가 있다는 것이 특징이다.
