The present invention is directed to a lamellar oil-in-glycol gel comprising (a) at least one glycol, (b) at least one fatty alcohol, (c) at least one cationic surfactant and optionally (d) at least one benefit agent, said lamellar gel capable of providing enhanced mass and promoting the permeation of the benefit agent through a keratinous substrate such as the skin, hair and fingernails, providing both deep and superficial treatment thereof.Linvention concerne un gel lamellaire de type huile dans glycol comprenant (a) au moins un glycol, (b) au moins un alcool gras, (c) au moins un surfactant cationique et éventuellement (d) au moins un agent de bienfait, ce gel lamellaire étant capable de fournir une masse augmentée et daméliorer la pénétration de lagent de bienfait à travers un substrat kératineux tel que peau, poil et ongles, permettant un traitement à la fois superficiel et en profondeur de celui-ci.
