PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide muscle-derived progenitor cells showing long-term survival transplantation into body tissues and which can augment soft tissue introduction via injection, transplantation, or implantation into a site of soft tissue.SOLUTION: There is provided use of a composition comprising: (i) isolated muscle-derived progenitor cells having long-term survivability in situ, wherein the muscle-derived progenitor cells express cell markers comprising at least desmin, CD34, Bcl-2, Sca-1 and Flk-1, and do not express CD45 and c-Kit cell markers； and (ii) a physiologically-acceptable carrier, excipient, or diluent, for the manufacture of a medicament for use in augmenting or bulking non muscle soft tissue in a mammal, wherein the composition is present in an amount sufficient to augment or bulk the non-muscle soft tissue. The non-muscle soft tissue is selected from the group consisting of digestive, reproductive, cardiovascular, urological, neural, respiratory, epithelial, dermal and connective tissue.【課題】体組織への移植後に長期生存を示し、注射、移植、または埋め込みによる軟部組織部位への導入後に軟部組織を増大することができる筋肉由来前駆細胞を含む組成物の使用方法の提供。【解決手段】（ｉ）インサイチューで長期生存能を有し、少なくともデスミン、ＣＤ３４、Ｂｃｌ－２、Ｓｃａ－１、およびＦｌｋ－１を含む細胞マーカーを発現し、ＣＤ４５およびｃ－Ｋｉｔ細胞マーカーを発現しない単離された筋肉由来前駆細胞と、（ｉｉ）生理学的に許容される担体、賦形剤、または希釈剤を含む組成物であって、非筋肉性軟部組織を増大または肥厚させるために十分な量で存在する組成物の使用方法。該非筋肉性軟部組織としては、消化器組織、生殖器組織、心臓血管組織、泌尿器組織、神経組織、呼吸器組織、上皮組織、真皮組織、および結合組織からなる群より選択されるものであることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
