Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verfahren zur Kultivierung einer Pilzbrut sowie die Pilzbrut. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Verfahren zur Kultivierung einer Pilzbrut vorgestellt, welches zunächst die Herstellung einer Suspension aus einer Pilzbrut und Wasser umfasst. Die Pilzbrut wurde dabei auf einem zellulosehaltigen Grundsubstrat kultiviert, wobei die Pilzbrut auf einen pH-Wert von 6–10, vorzugsweise 6–8 eingestellt ist. Anschließend erfolgt die Applikation der Pilzbrut auf einem zellulosehaltigen Substrat mittels eines Gießvorgangs.The method involves preparing suspension of a mushroom brood, which is cultured on a cellulose-containing base substrate e.g. wood and straw bale, and water. The mushroom brood is adjusted based on a pH value of 6-10 preferably 6-8. The mushroom brood is applied on the cellulose-containing base substrate by a casting process. The base substrate is provided in a form of chips, splinters and/or granules, where grain size of the base substrate is between 0.5 and 2 mm. An area of a cross section of the wood piece is cut to about 50-90 percent by a chain saw. An independent claim is also included for a liquid mushroom brood.
