PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter capable of performing two row planting under the same conditions along the two rows while preventing any complication in mechanism and rise in cost. SOLUTION: This transplanter is obtained by mounting a planting member 116 on a swinging arm 122 allowed to vertically swing for setting the planting member 116 liftable, by providing the planting member with the ability of receiving a falling seedling when lifted and by so forming the planting member 116 as to cause a planting hole when falling and plunging into a rib in order to discharge the seedling into the hole, wherein there are mounted such planting members 116 on both the sides of the swinging arm 122.
