PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip attachment tool for an endoscope, which enables even an inexperienced person or a person wearing sterilization gloves to very easily and surely perform the work of connecting a clip and a connecting hook.
SOLUTION: The clip attachment tool for the endoscope is provided with a clip housing part 6 for housing the clip 11 in an open state, and a hook guide hole 8 for guiding the connecting hook 21 from the rear part to the rear end connection part 11a of the clip 11. The cross sectional shape of the hook guide hole 8 is formed gradually flatly so as to correct the direction of the connecting hook 32 inserted in it to such a direction that it can be engaged to and disengaged from the connection part 11a of the clip 11 as approaching the side of a boundary part (8b) with the clip housing part 6 at the front from the side of a rear end opening 8a.
