PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a white light or special light observation image having a high contrast of an object substance.SOLUTION: An observation image acquisition system includes light source means for irradiating an observation object with first light of a wavelength region including no wavelength region where an absorption peak of the object substance in an observation object exists, and second light of a wavelength region where the absorption peak exists, imaging means for imaging the observation object to acquire image information, and image acquisition means including emphasis image information generation means for operating the image information acquired by the imaging means to generate emphasis image information for emphasizing the object substance.
