In particular, since parrots should take only vegetables, jelly-type feed is manufactured by using agar as vegetable rather than gelatin, which is animal protein. Through the feed, parrots can take dietary fibers and can improve intestinal regulation. Also, the reason for manufacturing the jelly-type feed is that: lories can hold and eat jelly once the jelly is simply inputted due to a habit of eating while holding feed the nutrients can be taken together and the settlement of the manager is easy because the inconvenience of cleaning up grain shells output after the soaked grain which is the main feed of lories is taken, is removed. The jelly is made from a mixture containing agar, fruit juice, and macerated grains.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016앵무새 중 로리류는 습식 사료를 좋아한다. 습식사료는 잘 상하므로 사료를 줄 때마다 물에 불려서 먹여야하는데 관리자들이 불편함을 느낀다. 그 불편함을 해소함과 동시에 앵무새들이 좋아할 수 있는 습식 젤리형 사료를 개발하고자 한다. 특히 앵무류는 식물성만을 섭취해야 하므로 동물성 단백질인 젤라틴보다는 식물성인 한천을 사용하여 젤리형 사료를 제조하며 이것을 통해 식이성섬유를 섭취 할수 있고 정장작용을 좋게 할 수 있다. 또한 젤리형으로 제조하는 이유는 로리류는 잡고 먹는 습성이 있기 때문에 간편하게 젤리만 넣어주면 잡고 먹을수 있고 영양분을 함께 섭취할 수 있으며, 또한 로리류의 주 사료인 불린 알곡을 먹은 후 나오는 알곡껍질 정리의 번거로움을 없애므로 관리자의 뒤처리도 용이하다.
