The present invention relates to a composition for repelling a jellyfish. It was confirmed that activation of an Acanthopanax koreanum extract and/or a Cinnamomum camphora extract inhibits cnidocytes of the jellyfish from discharging toxin, and disclosed is a composition for repelling a jellyfish using the same. The composition comprises one or metal positive ions selected from a group consisting of gallium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, zinc, iron, gadolinium, potassium, titanium, and cobalt.본 발명은 해파리 퇴치용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 해파리 자포의 독소가 배출되는 작용을 억제하는 섬오갈피 추출물 및/또는 녹나무 추출물의 활성을 확인하였으며 이를 사용한 해파리 퇴치용 조성물을 개시하였다.
