FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of earth surface exploration. Method is implemented using an IPVI vegetation index in a strip of off-take of transport routes and power transmission lines. At that, using aircrafts, remote digital geocoded spectrozonal photography is carried out and ground-based digital spectral photography is carried out using a spectroradiometer in range of 320 to 1,100 nm with division into subranges of the transport and power transmission lines of the earth's surface referred to the strip of discharge, as well as located in this band of reference sections of dominant phytocenosis in summer. Obtained spectrozonal images are converted into colour synthesized by vegetation index, computer estimation of energy distribution of said image is carried out and compared with data of spectral ground survey of reference section with established phytocenosis on levels of reflected energy, outlines of dominant phytocenosis are separated with separation according to levels of vege
