PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-floor wheelchair for a Futon (Japanese-style bedding) for allowing a user to get on and off by turning from a Futon spread on a tatami mat without being lifted up in someones arms, that enables the use for a Western-style toilet by remaining the wheelchair, the use for bathing or shower by remaining the wheelchair, the switching of states between a bed state and a chair state with a simple operation, and enables the storage by folding.SOLUTION: A chair state is constituted by an inner frame including a backrest, inner frame diagonal bars, a seat base, and a below-knee base. The inner frame is overlapped on the horizontal frames of an outer frame constituted by vertical frames, the horizontal frames, outer frame diagonal bars, and auxiliary frames thereby to attain a bed state by allowing the vertical frames to be horizontal. A wheelchair state is obtained by erecting the vertical frames.
