An assembly type molding structure creating a molding of various shapes using a structure which is easily changed and fabricated is provided to easily assemble, plant, administer and maintain. Also is provided a method of constructing the assembly type molding structure. A molding structure contains: a fixture(10) with an incised support groove(11) inside at the front edge and a coupling part(12) at the other end; a fixing frame(20) installed at the outside of a main frame forming the shape of a molding and formed with a plurality of insertion holes for insertion of the coupling part and a coupling hole(22) in the longitudinal direction to be coupled with the coupling part; and a planting plate inserted into the incised support groove to form a space(31) and receiving soil on the space to plant plants. The main frame forms any one comprising a triangle, polygon, round shape or its combination.
