PURPOSE: An ethanol seawater immersion high density live fish transport system is provided to reduce the number of dead fish by smoothing metabolism of fish and minimizing stress and to reduce transport cost by utilizing as a high density transport method. CONSTITUTION: An ethanol seawater immersion high density live fish transport system is featured by using an ethanol (C2H5OH). The ethanol is added in transport water. The ethanol concentration is 0.6% with respect to the volume of seawater. As a result of activity reaction, survival rate and blood composition after immersion of the fry of red sea bream with the total length of 4.5±0.4 cm by ethanol concentration, addition of 0.6% ethanol reduces a metabolism speed, and decreases sensitivity against to stress and shows a 100% survival rate. To investigate possibility of high density live fish transport in seawater with adding 0.6% ethanol, a simulation transport is carried out and the result shows a high survival rate and stress reaction receiving while transport is reduced.본 발명은 에탄올(ethyl alcohol, C2H5OH)을 이용한 새로운 활참돔수송방법에 관한 것으로, 활참돔을 에탄올이 첨가된 해수에 고밀도로 수용하여 수송하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명의 활참돔수송 방법에 따르면, 활참돔수송시 참돔치어가 받는 스트레스에 대한 민감도를 저감 시키고 고밀도 환경에서 수송하는 것이 가능해지므로, 스트레스 반응을 최소화하여 수송에 의한 어체의 폐사 및 활력 저하를 줄일 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 고밀도 수송방법으로 활용되어 수송비용의 절감을 기대할 수 있는 에탄올해수침지 고밀도 활참돔수송방법에 관한 것이다.
