The present invention relates to a method for controlling a fundus camera and a device using the same. More specifically, according to the present invention, the method allows a controlling device to obtain a fundus image from a fundus camera, allows the controlling device to determine whether the obtained fundus image is readable, refers to optic discs and yellow spots from the fundus image to determine whether a fundus is placed at a position of interest when the fundus image is readable, uses the fundus image as an output image if the fundus is placed at the position of interest, and performs controlling operation which is induced to be placed at the position of interest if the fundus is not placed at the position of interest so as to obtain the fundus image from the fundus camera, thereby repeatedly performing determination of whether the fundus image is readable again.본 발명은 안저 촬영기를 제어하는 방법 및 이를 이용한 장치에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 본 발명에 따른 방법에 의하면, 제어 장치가, 상기 안저 촬영기로부터 안저 영상을 획득하고, 획득된 상기 안저 영상의 판독 가능 여부를 판정하며, 상기 안저 영상이 판독 가능하면, 상기 안저 영상에서 시신경 유두 및 황반을 참조하여, 안저가 관심 위치(position of interest)에 놓였는지 여부를 판정하며, 상기 안저가 상기 관심 위치에 놓였으면, 상기 안저 영상을 출력 영상으로 하고, 상기 안저가 상기 관심 위치에 놓이지 않았으면, 상기 관심 위치에 놓이도록 유도하는 제어 작동을 수행한 후, 상기 안저 촬영기로부터 다시 상기 안저 영상을 획득함으로써 상기 안저 영상의 판독 가능 여부의 판정부터 다시 반복 수행한다.
