Disclosed is an apparatus for producing a database which stores a brain wave reaction pattern. A specific brain wave reaction is induced to a user by using a sound signal to produce the database. The brain wave reaction associated with the sound signal induced to the user is stored in the database by analyzing the brain wave reaction. The intention of the user is grasped by comparing the brain wave reaction measured from the user with the brain wave reaction pattern stored in the database.
