PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new measurement principle related to the measurement of displacement utilizing ultrasonic waves.SOLUTION: An echo tracking processing part 22 tracks a plurality of boundary points corresponding to the boundary of object tissue by echo tracking processing. A shape data generation part 24 generates shape data related to the boundary of the object tissue on the basis of the plurality of boundary points. The shape data generation part 24 generates boundary line data connecting the plurality of boundary points, for instance, as the shape data. Further, by comparing the shape data obtained at times different from each other, a moving amount calculation part 26 calculates the moving amount of the shape data as a measured value related to the displacement of the object tissue.
