Provided herein is a method for producing a tablet comprising ibuprofen, which is simple and inexpensive compared with that of the prior art. A tablet comprising ibuprofen is made by compressing an ibuprofen powder or ibuprofen containing particles as tablet powders, wherein more than 70 wt% of said ibuprofen powders are composed of ibuprofen particles having 75~1000 &mgr；m in diameter.
