A cosmetic composition comprises carbon black pre-treated with polyol as a black pigment, where the pre-treatment is done by soaking the carbon black in the polyol, agitating, heating and emulsifying it, the content of the carbon black is 0.01-80 wt.% regarding the total weight of the composition and the content of the polyol is 0.1-10 wt.% regarding the total weight of the composition.
