The shaft assembly (200) includes an articulation rod (278) at least partially slidably supported in the outer tube (210), and an articulation link (240) having a proximal end (240a) pivotally connected to the distal end (278b) of the articulation rod (278) and a distal end pivotally (240b) connected to a distal neck housing (236). The articulation rod (278) being off set a radial distance from the central longitudinal axis of the outer tube (210).
