PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which allows a wearer to grasp an absorption performance of the absorbent article by a visual effect of the absorbent article on a skin facing surface.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 10 comprises an absorbent core, a core wrap which is arranged on a skin facing surface side of the absorbent core, and a top sheet 50 which is arranged on a skin facing surface side of the core wrap. The top sheet 50 has low basis weight parts 51 and high basis weight parts 52. The low basis weight parts and the high basis weight parts respectively extend along a longer direction L and are alternately arranged in a width direction W. The core wrap comprises colored parts 80 which can be visually confirmed from the skin facing surface side of the absorbent article. The colored parts are arranged with an interval in the longer direction and are arranged with an interval in the width direction. A width direction length L532 of each colored part is shorter than a total length obtained by adding a width direction length L512 of the low basis weight part and a width direction length L522 of the high basis weight part.
