PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearing article where fastening tapes are easily developed, and which is easily mounted to a human body, has convenience to find the fastening tapes even in the dark, and also has adaptability to obtain various diaper fitting states.
SOLUTION: The wearing article has an abdominal side part a back side part and a crotch part between both side parts, and also has a longitudinal direction from the abdominal side part to the back side part and a width direction orthogonally crossing the longitudinal direction. A pair of right and left fastening tapes extended outward in the width direction from side edges in a pulled out state are attached to the side edges on both sides of at least one of the abdominal and back side parts in the width direction. The fastening tapes are divided into first portions and second portions in order by viewing from the side edges so as to be positioned on the skin abutment surface side or skin non-abutment surface side of the side edges and also to be folded to overlap the side edges, the first portions, and the second portions when viewed from the thickness direction.
