PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion tool and an insertion tool insertion method which allow safe execution of a technique to bury in a living body an indwelling object for supporting biological tissue.SOLUTION: An insertion tool 6 comprises an urethra insertion part 41 to be inserted into the urethra, and the urethra insertion part 41 comprises a body 45 and suction parts 46 which are provided movably with respect to the body 45 and have a suction hole. The suction parts 46 are provided along the peripheral direction of the body 45.
