PURPOSE: A visitor temperature measuring device and method thereof are provided to conveniently select a visitor of abnormal body temperature by including a camera module, a thermopile array sensor module and a mirror. CONSTITUTION: A camera module photographs a subject image. A thermopile array sensor module measures a thermal image. A mirror is used to light a man. By sensing the man approaching to the mirror in front of a sensing unit enables the thermopile array sensor module. A display unit displays a body temperature of the man measured by the enabled thermopile array sensor module. A control unit controls operation of a camera module by comparing a fixed reference temperature with a body temperature of the man measured.본 발명에 따른 방문자 체온 측정 장치 및 방법은, 예를 들어, 공공장소의 출입구 등에 설치되어 방문자의 체온을 측정하는 체온 측정 장비 등에 적용되는 것으로, 피사체 영상을 촬영하기 위한 카메라 모듈과, 열화상을 측정하기 위한 써모파일 어레이 센서 모듈, 그리고 사람의 모습을 비추기 위한 거울 등을 포함하여 구성되며, 상기 거울 앞에 사람이 접근하면, 상기 써모파일 어레이 센서 모듈을 인에이블시켜 사람의 체온을 측정한 후, 상기 측정된 온도를 엘씨디(LCD) 등을 통해 표시하고, 상기 측정된 온도가, 사전에 설정된 기준 온도를 초과하면, 상기 카메라 모듈을 동작 제어하여, 피사체 영상을 촬영하고, 상기 촬영된 피사체 영상과 상기 측정된 온도 정보를 저장하여, 중앙에 위치에 외부 기기로 전송함으로써, 공공장소를 출입하는 방문자의 체온을 보다 편리하게 측정할 수 있게 되며, 또한 비정상 체온의 방문자를 보다 용이하게 선별 및 촬영하여, 출입 금지 및 그에 상응하는 안전 조치를 신속하게 수행할 수 있게 되므로, 공공장소 등에서의 질병 확산을 효율적으로 예방할 수 있게 된다.
