PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a trunks type diaper to be easily fitted to parts around thighs.
SOLUTION: Pleat parts 20 onto which a plurality of pleats releasably adheres are formed in the parts 14 around the thighs in the diaper 100. Thus, when the thighs of a wearing person are put through the parts 14 around the thighs in wearing the diaper 100, the thighs of the wearing person, which are thicker than the size of the openings 14a of the parts 14 around the thighs, widen the pleat parts 20 in the width direction of the parts 14 around the thighs (in the circumferential direction of the openings 14) so as to release the adhesion of the pleats, and then, allow the parts 14 around the thighs to be enlarged to have a size to fit the thigh parts of the wearing person.
