PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver of good operability, capable of easily pulling an engagement shaft part at a shaft tip end out of an engaged hole for a medicine screw, with no need of forcibly pulling out a shaft or rotating a tube body capped over the shaft.SOLUTION: A driver includes a driver body 1 in which, at the tip end of a shaft 12 protruding from a grip 11, an engaging shaft part 12a which is inserted into an engaged hole 4a of a medicine screw 4 for engagement, a tube body 2 which is capped over the shaft 12 for free movement and whose tip end abuts with or approach a rear end of the medicine screw 4, and a tube body movement member 3 which is provided between the grip 11 and the tube body 2 and is moved toward the tip end of the shaft 12 without rotating the tube body 2. Since, without rotating the tube body 2 by the tube body movement member 3, the engagement shaft part 12a is pulled out of the engaged hole 4a of the medicine screw 4 by movement toward the tip end of the shaft 12, possibility of causing a flaw on the medicine screw 4 or generating chips by the tip end of the tube body 2 is settled.
