The present invention provides a composition for promoting growth of dermal papilla cells； the composition is characterized by using a serum-free culture medium to culture cells for a certain number of days to obtain cytokines； subjecting to multiple freezing/thawing cycles to destroy the cells to obtain more polypeptide mixture, which is then concentrated and desalted to obtain a composition of a particular molecular weight, wherein the composition has the effect of promoting growth of dermal papilla cells. Compared to dermal papilla cells in preliminary pre-experiment, the growth rate is increased approximately by 5 to 50%. The preparation method comprising: preparing porcine umbilical cords； using rinse solution to wash the porcine umbilical cords, so that blood cells or body fluids may be completely removed from the porcine umbilical cords； separating cells from the porcine umbilical cords for subculture to obtain cytokines； subjecting the cytokines and cells to at least two cycles of freezing/thawing in order to obtain a polypeptide mixture； finally, the polypeptide mixture is concentrated and desalted to obtain a composition, wherein the molecular weight of the composition is greater than the 3000 dalton (Da).本發明提供一種促進真皮乳頭細胞生長之組成物，其組成物係藉由不含血清之培養基培養細胞特定天數以獲得細胞激素；並經由多次凍融循環以破壞細胞以獲得更多的多胜肽混合物，再以濃縮去鹽以獲得特定分子量之組成物，其中該組合物具有促進真皮乳頭細胞(dermal papilla cell)生長之效果，且相較於初始未實驗之真皮乳頭細胞可促進生長速率約5%至50%。
