The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases and depression comprising a 2-amino-2-(1-dodecyl-1H-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)propane-1,3-diol derivative as an active ingredient. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases and depression comprising the compound having an effect of inhibiting ASM activity as an active ingredient. A novel ASM inhibiting compound of chemical formula 1 of the present invention has an excellent inhibiting effect of ASM compared to an existing ASM inhibitor, and has a therapeutic effect such as reduction in Aβ plaque in an Alzheimer′s brain environment, recovery of autophagocytosis damage, and alleviation of neuroinflammation. Therefore, the novel ASM inhibiting compound can be very useful for the development of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer′s disease. In addition, as in a conventional report in which the inhibition of ASM is effective in depression mitigation, the novel ASM inhibiting compound of chemical formula 1 of the present invention can be useful as an agent for preventing or treating neurological diseases including depression.본 발명은 2-아미노-2-(1-도데실-1H-1,2,3-트리아졸-4-일)프로판-1,3-디올 유도체를 유효성분으로 포함하는 퇴행성 신경질환 및 우울증 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 ASM 활성을 억제하는 효과가 있는 상기 화합물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 퇴행성 신경질환 및 우울증 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 화학식 1의 ASM 신규 억제화합물은 기존의 ASM 억제제에 비해 ASM 억제 효과가 탁월하고, 알츠하이머 뇌환경에서 Aβ 플라크 감소, 자가포식작용 손상 회복, 신경염증 완화 등의 치료효과가 있어, 알츠하이머병을 포함하는 퇴행성 신경질환 예방 또는 치료제 개발에 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 또한, ASM의 억제는 우울증 완화에 효과적이라는 종래 보고와 같이, 본 발명의 화학식 1의 ASM 신규 억제화합물은 우울증을 포함하는 신경 질환의 예방 또는 치료제로서도 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
