PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent whose viscosity is stable at high temperature and at low temperature, and in which suitable viscosity conditions can be maintained even when being stored in a low temperature environment after being temporarily left in a high temperature environment.SOLUTION: The detergent is blended with: (A) one or more kinds selected from higher fatty acid salts (B) a betaine amphoteric surfactant (C) polyethylene glycol with the average polymerization degree of 200 to 1,540 (D) glyceryl monostearate with an HLB of ≤4 and (E) self-emulsification type glyceryl monostearate including a fatty acid salt.
