PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fine particle that has inside a hydrophilic part for efficiently sealing a protein and improves stability in an organism and pharmacokinetics and the dispersion of the fine particle.
SOLUTION: The method for producing a hydrophilic substance-containing fine particle that contains an amphipathic polymer, has a hydrophilic part composed of a hydrophilic segment of the amphipathic polymer inside and is made up of a hydrophobic external layer composed of a hydrophobic segment of the amphipathic polymer in which a surface modifier is bonded to the hydrophobic external layer comprises (a) a process for mixing an aqueous solvent containing a hydrophilic active substance with a water-immiscible organic solvent in which an amphipathic polymer is dissolved to form a reversed phase emulsion, (b) a process for introducing the reversed phase emulsion into a liquid phase containing a surface modifier and (c) a process for removing the water-immiscible organic solvent.
